While ACNL was released on the 9th of June in 2013, I started playing on the 10th. Now, it's been two whole years since I started playing.

Amazingly, June is not just the month that ACNL was released in and the month I started playing ACNL, but it's also the month I got my 3DS XL (in 2014) and the month I created StarFall, as well as my three human characters. In addition, it was the month I got my second 3DS (in 2012) and the month the eShop opens for the 3DS (in 2011). Last year, June was even one of the best months of the year.

Another interesting fact: My 9-month anniversary on this site (or my third quarter-versary) was on the 2nd anniversary of ACNL's release.

Back when ACNL came out, I thought it was the best AC game ever released. At the time, I would give it a 10/10, as there were very few problems. But after playing for one year, I dropped it to a 9/10. Even if there were a few problems, they were more severe. I may liked the mayoral feature, but I feel there isn't enough. Plus, we had other problems (like the messed up luck system or the animal moving mechanic). But I spent most of the second year on my town of StarFall, the best one I ever made. Now it's year three. My current rating...still 9/10, but I'm not really going to play that much anymore. Since I have no interest in deleting my town as I hit the burn point in the game, it's not that much fun anymore. So I might be leaving the players pool. But hey, you still have me on TBT. I'm not going to quit, even after the rudeness problem of the site and the lack of future interest in ACNL.

The game ideas I had in my idea blog had one major purpose: to show what could've been done to make a better game. They were more like improvements in the future.

If you want to see an interesting breakdown of what I did throughout the ages, here it is:

2013 (second half): Westport and building Belcroft
2014 (first half): Working on Belcroft
2014 (second half): Building StarFall and the StarFall Press
2015 (first half): Almost silent activity

Wow, congratulations on two years! Hopefully I'll have my town that long. ; o ; I know the feeling though. I've had one of my favorite RPG's for near 5 years now, but that's the longest I've kept a game going. I've defeated the boss and all that but I still can't give it up.
