Unable to work at The Roost?

I've been having this problem for ages and still nothing has changed so I figured it was about time to try and fix it.

It's been a very long time since I got the cafe (like a month just about) and even though I've had countless drinks there I've never been able to get take out or work there. I do TT, and have had coffee on many of my TTing adventures, but even then... after a month I should have hit six drinks.

Is there another requirement I'm missing, or what's going on here? It's not a giant loss or anything but it's still kind of sad that I'm missing out on such a cool feature

Hmmm...that's really weird. Have you tried talking to him over by the counter? I think you have to get take-out coffee or something.

Yeah, it's not really that fun. I did it a couple times and got bored, haven't really visited my cafe in a while xD

Same here. Too many orders to keep track of. I got one of the Brewsteroids and felt accomplished enough.

That's really odd that you haven't even gotten the take out option. I think I got that the fourth time ordering coffee. Make sure you are drinking them hot. In my personal experience I bought eight cups before he asked me to work there. Some bought 6, I've also heard 7. I think the hours are 11am-11pm.

Same here, I've had the cafe for 2 months but have had coffee there like 10-15 times (visiting the Roost is very low on my list of priorities). Brewster has still not even offered me take out coffee -.-

But I do TT a lot so not sure if that affects anything...

i think tting does sort of reset the clock from what ive heard. but i know a lot of people cant work during this month because jack might turn up to recruit you to work for him. it counts as an event. i know me and my sister are having problems working when weve been working there for months already.

I think there are specific times to work at The Roost, I did get few declines from Brewster. But no take outs so far.

You have to drink coffee consecutively for at least 10 days.

^From October 1-7, you couldn't work because those are possible "Jack" days, which the game considers event days, even though Jack only comes one of those days. The fishing tournament was Saturday and yesterday was Explorer's Day, so you couldn't work those days either. But the other days, including today, you will be able to work at the usual time (11am to 11pm).
