These albums can be by popular bands and they can be albums you think might be popular but never hear anyone talk about. My list would include:

Deja Entendu by Brand New;
Doolittle by The Pixies;
Louder Now by Taking Back Sunday;
Egypt Central by Egypt Central;
You Should Be At Home Here by Carissa's Wierd;
The End is Where We Begin by Thousand Foot Krutch.

They may be popular, but I never hear anyone talking about them, so ...?\_(ツ)_/?

Genesis' self-titled album is one of my favorite 80's pop-rock albums but most people seem to dismiss it either because it's not their style, because it's not "real Genesis", or they just don't know about it.

Though it did have some singles off of it, I think every song on there is good...

well since Phil Collins' sound ruined Genesis, yes I hate those albums. Early ones are p good for some psych though.

(inb4 people post indie stuff that was actually popular from the last 5-10 years)

I could probably listen all the Portuguese stuff, and some African as well here since I'm probably at the way wrong place for that kind of music, lol. I'll list one Portuguese thing though because it deserves more recognition, and it's way better than that other album people call his masterpiece...

Fausto (Bordalo Dias.. I list his surnames here because otherwise you'll just get random results lol)'s first and self-titled album, way more superior to "Por este Rio acima" and those later things, imo. Especially "Madrugada" is superb.. and also "Chora, amigo, Chora" is a+

The most underrated album ever is the one I released about 2 years ago, "Knee To The Groin". I'm working on a follow-up album called "Blue Bells Hospital".

The Emptiness by Alesana and &&&&& by Arca, which is more of a mixtape, rather than an album but it's absolutely amazing all the way through.

Good For Your Soul, and Dark at the End of the Tunnel.

Also Pink Floyd's "Piper at the Gates of Dawn". I freaking love Syd Barrett and I don't get why everyone go on about their 1970s releases as they are masterpieces. Heck.

blink-182: take off your pants and jacket
kanye west: late registration or 808s and heartbreaks
weezer: pinkerton

NEO WAX BLOOM-Iglooghost (electronic)

Skiptracing-Mild High Club (psych rock)

1992 Deluxe- Princess Nokia (hip hop/rap)

XXX-Danny Brown (rap)

The Money Store- Death Grips (experimental hip/hop)

Little Dragon-Little Dragon (Alternative pop)

CTRL was AOTY for me last year. Still listen to it regularly. There's no song on the album that I find bad
