UNIQLO UTGP2017 Nintendo Winners

Not sure if anyone has been following (or even cares except me), but last year it was revealed by UNIQLO that the 2017 design theme would be Nintendo, and it allowed people to design t-shirts based off Nintendo characters to be sold in their next collaboration.

Yesterday, they revealed the winner, alongside all the shirts that will be going on sale. The shirts will go on sale in Western UNIQLO's May 19th, but will have early access online the day before. Unfortunately, not all designs are available in all sizes, some are men only, some are women only, and some are kids only, which is a little unfortunate (but that's not going to stop me). I'll link all the designs below, as well as the video, and a link to the website if you want to check them out for yourselves! I'll definitely be getting the Splatoon and Animal Crossing one. I'll probably pick up a few others too.

Kirby one is adorable. It's a shame it's kids only though. I have a pretty small build so I hope I'll fit into it (much like the non-Resetti Animal Crossing one), but even if they don't fit, I'll happily buy them as a keep sake. They're too cute not to pass up.

But yeah, I agree with you on the winners front (I wouldn't say it's the ugliest, but I do think there are much better designs that could have got first place). It's pretty basic and the Splatoon one is miles better. I'm pretty sure it only won because it's Mario, as there's no way they'd let their most iconic franchise be beaten out by one that is only 2 years old, but out of all the Mario ones it's probably the best looking one that seems logical of winning.

I love the Zelda ones, the Mario hats one, and the Animal Crossing one. Too bad that last one is just for kids </3 I don't think I could squeeze into a kid's size :'(
