Unique themes

what unique themes have you tried or seen?
i personally love all-species islands that are themed around the species; i once attempted an all bird villager island, named Nest. it was wonderful to collect a variation of bird villagers, such as ducks and ostrich (most of which are their own unique species, such as flora and julia!) and decorate their spaces relative to their individual aesthetic. i also had a rabbit island, named Lapin, and made use of all the rabbit-themed furniture!
i adore themes that are based on rainy nature, not just standard cottagecore or forestcore. they remind me a lot of new leaf ♡ also pink/princess themes; the ones i see are beautiful and so comforting.

I also really like the all-species themes! I was thinking of having a cat-themed island; I would name my character Caramel (in honor of my precious calico ♡) and my island Nekoland. Oh, and obviously all cat villagers + cat furniture and clothing. (If you couldn't tell, I really like cats. XD)

I love single species islands! If I had the will to work on a second island, I'd aim for an all bear island, but one island is more than enough for me!

I also love the idea of decorating the area surrounding the villager's house based on their species. I've done that a little, but I'd love to work on that more. My island is primarily just whatever I think a nice town for my villagers would look like, so it has no strict themes.

I really love minimalist, nature themed islands, because they are so beautiful, but I know someone has painstakingly placed everything, including the flowers and weeds.

My island is a mix of gyaru and gothic styles, I wish I had the energy to make some nice custom paths and such for it too..

I once tried doing a red, yellow and white theme. Primary colors basically... it was hard and I abandoned that idea pretty quick... it didnt feel like me.

I really like the vibe of dense city islands, but I also really enjoy spring core islands and decorating natural spaces. I think I might eventually experiment with an overgrown/post apocalyptic island when I get more items cataloged and the chance to download more patterns. It'll have lots of frogs and alligators too since I really like those villagers.

I don't really have a theme but I just call it "Simple" meaning anything that comes to my mind is from a certain memory of a place I visited or something I just made up as like an imagination.

My island is an all bird town but there no bird references anywhere, just birds. other than that its also mostly blue themed so it kinda of a mix of different ideas.
I think Caito's Coastal Christmas was the coolest idea, so original! And to actually fill a whole island with something so specific, killer!!
