Introduction:
The town of Scranton, PA. Also home to Dunder Mifflin Incorporated, the greatest purveyor of paper products in this part of central Pennsylvania. Everything has been running smoothly at Dunder Mifflin, as per usual, except for one small problem. Someone has been stealing paper. Now, I'm not saying it was one of you, but, I'm saying it most definitely one of you. And, I'm not saying it was those dirty sons of b****es in accounting, but, that's exactly what I'm saying. And, I'm not even claiming that they are one of you, but, I am. So, if you're the one stealing paper, you can come forward now, and there will only be a minor punishment. But, if we have to figure it out ourselves, the punishment will be more... severe. Now, until either of those things happen, none of you are leaving this building. You can tell me which one of you did it, or you can help me find them. It's up to you now.
Be warned - Mafia requires a time commitment. This generally depends on the player, but at minimum 30 minutes a day of solid effort is required. As part of the time commitment, Mafia requires a great deal of reading. Most people are actually quite poor at reading comprehension and playing Mafia is a great way to improve your reading ability, as well as your writing and ability to think and argue logically.

General Mafia Rules:
Cheating:
Cheating includes (but is not limited to):
1. Posting after death. You may have one polite goodbye post, but it may not contain any potentially game-changing information.
2. Ruining the game by something like handing out your mafia's member list to the town.
3. Logging on to someone else's account to get their role or looking over someone's shoulder to get their role.
4. Posting screenshots of your inbox.
5. Posting or sharing any PM you receive from a host.
6. Getting yourself mod-killed to help your team. Your non-majority-decided death may not be used as a bargaining chip.
7. Signing up more than once using smurf accounts.
8. Offering favors/items/bells outside of the game for a in-game information.
9. Sharing accounts with other players.
10. Posting a false role PM phrased/screenshotted as if you received it from the host. You can still fake roleclaim, but you cannot make it look like you are posting a PM you received from the host.
Cheating is not tolerated here as it ruins the game for everyone.
Time Cycle and Phases:
This game will be following a 24 hour day and night cycle. The final deadline will be at 3PM EST.
Activity:
You must vote every day that you remain alive and post at least twice. Inactivity will lead to being modkilled or banned from our further games.
Wisdom of the Crowds:
Wisdom of the Crowds will not take place in this game.
Editing:
Editing is not allowed for any reason once the game has begun. Edits will result in modkills.
Out of Thread Communication:
All out of thread communication will be through Quicktopics that either Brad or I send to you in your role PM. Aside from Quicktopic, no out of thread communication will be allowed.
Fonts:
This is the mod color. It is reserved for the host. Please do not use it.
This is the question color. Use it to ask the host questions about the rules.
General Mafia Voting Rules:
1. This game uses Majority Lynch. As soon as everyone has voted, the day ends. If there was a majority on a player, that player is lynched. If there was no majority, or a majority decision to not lynch, there will be no lynch.
2. You can choose either to lynch a player or may choose to no lynch. You cannot abstain from voting.
3. Voting is done in this thread.
4. Please vote in the following format: ##Vote: Username. Votes not done in the correct fashion may not be counted.
5. If you want to change your vote, first type ##Unvote followed by your new vote ##Vote: Username. You can change your vote at any time and as much as you like (within reason) up until a majority is reached.
6. No conditional voting.
7. You may vote for yourself. You may not vote for anyone dead or outside the game.
