Well... 😅

I've kinda dreamed about starting a Youtube channel for a few years now and could just never figure out where to start. Gaming has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember, and some of my best memories growing up revolve around sharing a new game with a friend. I guess I have faded in and out of the hobby, but Animal Crossing always brings me back. I've clocked 350 hours in New Horizons so far and don't see myself stopping anytime soon... so I figured this would be a great way to get started. 😳

In my first video, I talk about my approach to designing my island and the crossover principles I use daily as a graphic designer. I really enjoy the freedom NH gives you above any previous entry to really create a community that reflects who you are. Feeling a bit self-conscious since this is my first video, but I'd really love to hear what you think!

Hey there! Good job on the video, I really enjoyed watching it :)
It was very professional and well edited, didn’t seem like your first video at all! And I loved your insight into all the tips (instead of the reason being just “cause it looks pretty”). Definitely keep them coming!

Please don't take this the wrong way, at the beginning I try to skip the ad, because it's so well produced I honestly believe it was an ad.
As the video progress you seem to be more confident every second and again it's really well made, you are really creative and I really liked that you went really in-depth with your tips, and no just add flowers because flowers. I totally recommend you to keep making videos.

the BGM you choose from the game is actually work very well in your video! XD and I really like the way you explain your island design with some professional design principles, they're very clear and helpful!

Waaah, thank you all. I really appreciate it! I definitely tried to share a bit of a different perspective so I'm happy that read 🥰

Great video!! especially for a first one? I'll definitely be using these tips, it's nice to hear about design concepts that can be applied to whatever you want on your island rather than just specific things. I really like what you did with the mix of the hedges and bushes with covering the stone up too, also I agree so much with the interactivity/usability, some peoples islands will look really nice but it's so hard to move around and actually play the game! Honestly I was getting ready to warm up and draw and then I just stopped and focused to watch the video LOL great job, can't wait to see more!

Thank you so much!!! And thank you all again for the kind words! I decided to work on a second video and share five more tips that are a bit more tangible and less focused on design principles. 😊 I would love to hear what you think!

You can check out my new video here: https://bit.ly/ACNH-5MoreTips

I've also updated my first post with an embedded video. I also got to do some quick digital paintings for this video!

Ah, I watched your first video and forgot to comment, lol! I really liked the tips from your first video even though i'm too lazy to implement a lot of them myself oops
Watching your second one now <3

I would recommend putting a link to your social medias instead of just putting a tag, it's a lot easier to just click and follow you on twitter/instagram, hehe
