I understand it’s part of the game but they only gave me one day to find a new villager. I woke up today thinking I had at least one more day of hunting, but the lot was sold. And it’s Gayle who I really don’t want. And so I tried time traveling to yesterday before she moved in, and when I logged back in her house was already moved in, even though I went BACK a day. Not happy with the new update to be honest.

They need to make it to where the last opened lot is manual. -_-

Sorry to hear that. Moving back a day doesn’t undo anything in the game. The game treats it as if one day has passed. It’s always better to assume that a plot will be filled the next day. If you’re ok with time traveling what you can do is just keep moving back the time so it stays the same day and you have more time to search for villagers.

Yeah, it's unfortunate. I feel like we should be able to buy a new plot or two with Nook Miles and then those plots are optional and no random move-ins can happen. I know this will not happen, I just think it'd be awesome.

This has happened to me too. It's a bummer and one reason I bought some Amiibo cards so I can pick my villagers. Hopefully, if you ignore the unwanted villager for awhile she will ask to move.

That can happen when a villager has been voided from someone else's island sometimes comes to your island could be a heavily gifted villager thats the worst case scenario.

I've had this happen as well, I was keeping a plot open because I wasn't able to find anyone villager hunting and then organised a trade with someone for the next morning. I TT'd back so it wouldn't fill the plot but it somehow put a voided resident from someone I had visited two days previously into it instead?? I feel your pain, hopefully it won't be too long before you can get rid of them (I've had gayle before and she's honestly such a sweetheart so at least it's not the worst villager you could've gotten!!)

I have a Ankha amiibo and Graham, plus others. She’s worth so much but she’s so annoying I was glad when decided to leave. But I got her card so I can bring her back.

Yeah the day before I saw Diana and Ozzie, either of them would have been better. And I spent 25 Nook Miles tickets just to end up with Gayle. Lame.

I found this super frustrating, I would spend hours trying to TT a villager out, only to have the lot sold the next day n have to repeat the process all over again! Before ANYTHING else on my island I worked on getting the villagers I wanted in/out, so then life could be easier lmao, and I didn't have to worry about people moving in random places or having to focus on my villagers. Getting all my dreamies online n then letting them be there to watch the island grow was very satisfying for me :)

I have Raymond, Gayle, Stitches, Lucky, Mira, Erik, Hopper, Moose, Freya and Graham. Not bad but I need to rid myself of Gayle, Moose and Freya.

I love Gayle, I hope you’ll give her a chance to grow on you while she’s living on your island.

I love gayle too but I have to warn you, the last villager is really difficult to move out, sorry to hear that it did not go well. good luck and if you give her a chance, maybe you will like her.

I've never thought of this but now that you mention it, that explains a lot!

I’ve had this happened before and it cause me to hate patty (the one who move in) bc I didn’t want her and at the time didn’t realise you can only pick up one villager a day from nm islands and so I was forced to leave the plot and hope that someone didn’t move in. But that didn’t happen. Turns out because I trade a lot I picked up a villager from someone’s void 😢

I dropped 100+ on four packs.

Nope. No way. I already deal with Freya. I don’t need Gayle in my life right now.

I don’t understand the “void”.

So should I just keep uploading my amiibos and push them out? So I can flood the market and with Ahnka and Graham plus others?

This has happened before, with Rooney, Tipper, Deli, and Reneigh. Although it can be annoying, especailly if someone you hate moves in *cough cough peaches and cube cough cough* I kind of like it. It gives you the opportunity to meet a new friend, or maybe an old one from a friend's island.
