I'd like to begin by emphasizing I'm still new to art. I would like to explain that a little bit, and if "being new" makes you nervous, scroll down to the comparison memes. Keep in mind, as well, that I've significantly lowered my NMT price because of my newbie stage. If you're still nervous, feel free to walk away! There's no pressure to request ^^ But I'm done sitting on my butt, spending most of my time playing Animal Crossing, and I want to spend some time pursuing creatives for a while. The Story (if you want to read)
Feel free to skip. Or feel free to read if you'd like! In September of 2018, I decided to start pursuing art. I'd had an off and on relationship with it (which generally led to inner conflict, fun times, and heaps of frustration at other people). But I put it back down until January of 2019, when I had to remain home for a few weeks with a condition I will not elaborate on. I started drawing again, and decided to use it for a University assignment. In the period of time, I discovered I was improving quickly. So I've been working on digital art off and on since. That's the story in a nutshell.
The Progress?
Here's a couple progress memes with art to compare different time periods:
I've decided to continue working on progression by offering limited time commissions. Each piece is 10 NMT. It will follow the general cartoony realism I've been slowly progressing towards. Examples of what you will receive can be found HERE. I don't want to overwhelm everyone with tons and tons of photos. If you don't want to click the link, here's one example:
1. You will receive a full body shaded shot with a solid colored background. The picture will be posted on my DA with my signature and the finished date. You may request Animal Crossing Avatars only!!!
2. Each piece is 10 NMT (these take me 1-2 days if i work nonstop; but i won't be working non stop
) Payment is not expected until you receive your finished piece.3. Provide a picture of your avatar in your comment and any information.
4. I will correct mistakes like this: Your brightly lit photo shows a green dress, but I was nuts and for some reason made the dress blue. Your character's hair is clearly blonde, but I made it jet black.
5. Information should be made aware BEFORE I start. I've had incidents when someone asks me to change a ton of stuff not specified before the project started, and I was too far to make the changes.
6. You request with the understanding that I'm a newbie. But I will give you my VERY best!! You'll find that the progression between pieces gets extreme!
