Guest, you're invited to help build our new TBT time capsule! It contains three parts, with some of its elements planned to open in 2029 and others not until the distant future of 2034. Get started in 2024 Community Time Capsule: Blueprints.
I was thinking about this and I would love that when Villagers say that the want to do something or will do something that they actually go out and do it. For example if there aren't any events in the near future and an animal says something like "I'm going to make my own event, fruit picking day!" or something along those lines, they will go talk to Isabelle (or the new mayor assistant). The next time you speak to Isabelle, she will mention that [Villager from earlier] wanted to make the event and you could accept or deny and that event WILL happen if you accept. Each Personality type can a list of event they can make.
Or maybe when a Villager says they want to get closer to another resident, they will go out of their way to spend more time with them, you can see them talking to each other more, they'd sit on the same benches, do activities together and all of that. If they say with about a player, that player for the next week will encounter more pings and recieve gifts from the Villager.
Overall I want more interactions between the Villagers and have them affect the town rather than the Player be the main focus of everything.
Next to much better dialogues then in New Leaf, I would love it if the villagers
are getting more active. What they did in New Leaf was already a step in the
right direction, but they can do in fact more. The idea that villagers would make
their own events sounds interesting. Maybe they could create their own items
which they would give then the player as a "Thank you"-gift since you allowed
to make the event (alternative, something like this could be another way to get
the pic of a villager).
And I'm also for it that villagers should spend more time with each other. I rarely
see my villagers talking with each other in NL, so it would be nice if they would
talk more with each other or do activities together in the new game.
I thought of a new thing, Villagers camping in towns say they're visiting and are enjoying the town, BUT they don't ever leave the tent. I would like them to do that, trade things and fruit with other villagers. And if you do requests for them , they might move in rather than random chance and having to win a mini game.
This is a neat idea, I'm definitely for it. Sometimes it just feels like they really don't do anything at all. It always feels like I'm doing all the neat stuff and the villagers just walk around. More interaction would be really nice.
Having more interactions with the villagers would be great in my opinion, being able to have new unique, and fun events would be a great thing, and I'd love to see the villagers interacting with the enviroment itself more, for example during the fishing tourney, seeing them trying to catch fish, or during the bug tourney seeing them participating in that, I'd like to see more villager participation in the town overall
I've always wanted villagers to actually catch things and not just miss every time. I'd also love the ability to customize event in our town, especially if villagers are the ones suggesting them. This would give each and every town their own distinct flair and allow for more personal events.
That would be awesome.
I loved seeing villagers interact with things in HHD and Pocket Camp.
So between the food items, singing, instruments, etc, seeing them fish more or actually catch a bug or fish, and seeing them even dance with the music, all of that would be so cool.
Sometimes I forget to even interact with them, because how unlivey they are. Hopefully we get some personality into them.
I second this! Although they are a little more interactive in Pocket Camp (with regards to interacting with items/furniture), I do think it could still be better. While they just walk around a lot in New Leaf, they seem to be sitting around a lot in Pocket Camp
It could be little improvements, like them actually catching fish visibly, picking fruits visibly, .. But I guess that's pretty complicated to program in with all these villagers. The most important thing would be extra dialogue, as everyone probably knows everyone's sentences by heart now
