I used to not have any friends in elementary school because everyone just liked different things. There was a lack of common interest. Running back to play Animal Crossing was the one thing I looked forward to each day after school. I wanted to check up on my villager friends and see how they were doing. It made me happy that the villagers were so nice to me. It was a change from being an outcast in school because my school didn’t really do anything to control the constant bullying, although they called themselves a bully-free zone. Has anyone treated Animal Crossing as a form of escape when they were younger? Did anyone think of their villagers as their actual friends? I knew they were literally virtual animals, but it was nice to have someone ask me how I was doing each day. It was nice to know someone cared. That’s what is so amazing about Animal Crossing. I absolutely love the concept of this game and what we can get just from playing it.

I bolded the questions in case this post was too long. 😅

So I'm not like reminiscing (got into animal Crossing a year ago) but yeah building my zen garden and talking with villagers is calming when the world around me is descending into madness with covid and stuff
