Villager house colors help/opinion

So Im trying to get villagers with similar color exteriors, to houses im basing them on.

But im stumped on one.. Its susposed to be a green house, but its a black house. I cant change around the other villagers because their set. The house im basing it on is green..

Should I choose a villager with a green house? Mint, Francine, and Stitches (Cally would be perfect if I had her amiib) have similar colora to the ones I want. Another problem im super attached to thus villager, but really have no place for him... Or can think of one..

Ive use simple panels, and all that to cover it, bur it still doesnt look as good as tje others.

i’d keep the villager if you’re attached to them. their house might not look the way you want it to on the outside, but you can still make it look the way you want on the inside (provided you have the dlc) so that the reference is still there. i’m assuming this is for your south park-themed island (sorry if i’m wrong lol), but even if the villager doesn’t 100% fit the theme, you can still keep them around just because you like them. maybe you could even come up with a south park oc that’s similar to them and base them off of that instead?

but replacing them with a villager that has a green exterior instead is always an option as well if it’s super important to you. either decision would be valid, and it’s entirely up to you.

Yeah you can change the shape of the house, the roof of the house, the door of the house and the color of the exterior of the house, door and roof
you can even put any wreaths/door decorations you've unlocked on them

Ah, if you haven't played it much that explains why you haven't unlocked it
you just need to design 30 homes to unlock it

Yes you can! You have to speak with Tom nook after you have unlocked it. To unlock the ability, you have to have built 30 happy island homes, and the facilities. Once you have done that, talk to nook and he gives you the option to customize your villager homes

I think there is a glitch which you can pick the exterior, but I think you need the Amiibo. My Biskit accidentally got Kyle’s exterior because of the glitch. I’m unsure if they patched it or not, but it’s a thought if you really want a villager and the only thing throwing you off is their home exterior.

Idk if they patched the glitch, but here’s the exterior of Merengue’s house that I remodeled last month. She moved in from villager hunting, so I don’t have her amiibo card. However, I have already finished playing the DLC and talked to Tom Nook.
