I may be holding a villager for a friend and I've never done it before(she accidentally said yes when Audie asked to leave). I have no amiibo to speed up the giving her back process and only villagers I have a high friendship with ever ask to leave. Plus last to move in won't ask to move which i hate. So it seems the camper method might be the best bet but Idk if that will work. Is the game set so the camper won't pick the last villager that moved in to replace? Any advice on the best/easiest/quickest way to give her villager back would be appreciated.

I think a camper will be your only option as long as Audie is your most recent and you don’t have amiibo cards. You could time travel until you get someone in your campsite that you want. To make it slightly easier that the camper picks Audie, ask Nook to move another villagers house and just hold on the housing kit in your inventory. Then that villager will never be picked to be kicked out by a camper. You get your refund by giving the kit back to Tom Nook
