Villager moved-in and want another villager to come in.

So a villager moved into my town today and he's in boxes now, but I want another villager my friend has, do you think that we can move that villager in despite that there's a villager already in move-in boxes?

I don't see why it shouldn't work, but this game does have some screwy mechanics so I can't say for sure. How many villagers does that make in your town not including the one you want from your friend, 9?

It doesn't matter. If you got space in your town, you can ask another villager to move into your town.

If you've got ten villagers, no. If you only have nine just in your town, it should be okay. I don't know for sure though.

You can! Since your villager will be all moved in tomorrow, you should be able to see the new house plot either tomorrow (if you get the villager today) or the following day.

I remember going to get a villager while a plot was still in place for someone to move in. I just had to wait for the first villager to move in all the way before the other plot appeared, but it still worked. You'll be fine.
