Villager Personality Matches & Mismatches Chart?

I'm think of pairing up my villagers since I already have two squirrels and two sheep. I've been trying to look up which personality types get along so the pairs can be friends but almost all the guides say differing things. Here are some examples:

Some say Crankies don't get along with Sisterly but then others say they do because they're "personality counterparts".

Some say Cranky gets along with Snooty but then others say the two personalities don't get along.

Some say Jocks get along with Sisterly because they both like physical activities but then others say the two don't get along because Sisterly are stubborn.

One site said personalities ALWAYS get along with their "personality counterparts" but a different site said sometimes they do & sometimes they don't.


Is there a simple but ACCURATE chart or list somewhere that shows the eight personalities and what other personalities they get along with? I know there are sites where you can test exact villager compatibility (like Cyd with Muffy) but I'm looking for a broader focus to give me more options to work with. Thanks!

Ugh. I've spent all morning looking into which personalities get along and which don't. Why did none of the websites I looked at mention that personality compatibility doesn't really matter in NH? All of them were about which personalities get along and which don't but they had conflicting info. That's why I was confused.

Thank you both for telling me I don't really need to worry about personality clashes when picking my pairs! You've saved me a lot of time and frustration.
