Villager Pictures

Hey guys I'm looking for some help. I've been trying for forever to get deirdre and Freya's pictures and they don't seem to want to give me one.

I do favors, send letters, and talk to them a lot... am I missing something. Also do they have to be moving out to give you one? I've never gotten one so I don't know

Do you get them rare bugs and fishes? Do you get petitions signed? How often do you deny a request?
Getting them furniture helps too.
Use the reset method before you give them something until you get their picture.

Take it from me, I got four.

It took me about 2 months to get a villager's picture. You'll get a picture of them eventually.

On two occasions I've given the villager an "above and beyond" item/fish/bug/fruit and they were extremely happy about it, and then ended up giving me their pic.

I think I read somewhere that they're given to you as a reward for doing certain tasks? Like, for example.. you might receive it as a reward for bringing them a certain fruit, or something.

Obviously you should still have to be close to them, though. Maybe sending them items from their favorite style, helps?

Yep, this is very true.
I gave Jay a peach after getting him a Horned Hercules and got his petition signed and he gave me his picture without a reset.

No problem. Don't forget to save before giving them the item.

Chadder gave me his picture as a reward for bringing him medicine three days in a row, when he was sick at home. I doubt you have much of a chance of a particular villager getting sick, but if they do, definitely bring them the medicine.

( Actually, my store was remodeling on one of those days, so I purposely got stung by bees. That way, another villager would give me the medicine for Chadder. INCREDIBLE DEDICATION. )

Usually I get pictures by giving them signatures or rare fish/bugs. I get the said item, and then I save before I hand it to them. I reset some time until I get their picture.

Here's a way I could tell that it's a favor that's going to get you the pic: They give you an item that you're sure is not in their inventory, they say the item name after they give it to you.

If you're not averse to TTing I suppose you could TT to April Fool's day and guess which one of them is the real villager and get it that way. No idea if this works though, just a thought.
