Villager Trading Newb

Morning Everyone!

So, I know this is entirely against the norm from what I've seen on this board so far...but I just invited Marshal into my town and he'll be moving in soon. However,...I don't really like Marshal? So my question is, when the time comes that he decides to leave, how do I go about trading him?

Ohey.. Well, it's fairly simple.. You go to the Villager Trading Plaza section, and start a new thread.. You can either sell him for a set amount using the Selling prefix.. Or auction him off using the Auction prefix.. If you decide to auction him off, you'll need a start price (500k or 1mil is quite common for Marshal) and a minimum bid increment, how much the next bid has to be more than the last bid (500k or 1mil is again, quite common) .. And then if you wish, you can add a buyout (one single figure that's a very high price that people can pay to get him straight away.. 30-50mil's quite common), but the buyout's optional

Either that, or you can offer to trade him off for a villager you want, or you can give him away.. It's all up to you really

So when should I make the thread? When Marshal pings that he wants to move?

Also, how do I actually trade <.< Do I invite the person to my town to talk to Marshal? Or can I tell him to move to a certain town?

You can make the thread whenever you like.. When he pings you to move is the best way, or, if you don't TT, then when he is in boxes is probably the best time..

As for trading him, unfortunately you can't tell him to go to a certain town, someone can come over and talk to him, and invite him to go there.. Of course, you must have a lot of trust in who you're trading with.. But, if you see them talking to him to invite him, and then not pay you, flick your Wi-Fi switch, and give them a bad Wi-Fi rating on this site .. It shouldn't happen, but just in case

SOme villagers aren't worth selling, but some can just be given away.. You'll learn who's worth selling if you stalk the Trading Plaza enough.. And btw, once Marshal has pinged you to move, you're free to TT to his moving date (the date he tells you he's going) .. No other villagers will move, the only thing that could happen is you lose flowers if you're not on beautiful ordinance

Oh I miss him.. He was a dreamy and moved out unexpectedly <3.. And yeah, Lyman's not popular, you cn try giving him away, but he may just have to be voided
