Villager Trading

I was wondering how the villager trading plaza works, i have read the rules and the stickies and have some idea, but i just want to confirm.
so if i have a villager worth trading in boxes, i announce it and see if people take my offer??

yep! that's all there is to it really, lol. you can also give them away for free or let people make offers of their own.
also, just a side note, give it some time before you get frustrated and/or give up. I've seen a handful of people get upset when they don't get replies within a short amount of time -- the longer you let your thread sit, the more people will see it and the more likely it'll be that you get some interest. good luck!

Yup, that's pretty much how it works. The only thing to watch out for is that we don't allow looking for/buying villager threads. If you are looking for a specific villager, please use The Official Looking for/Trading/Buying Thread and post there, instead of making your own thread. Additionally, if you're looking for someone to hold your villager because you want to reset or something else, then please use the Official Hold my Villager thread.
