Based on the amount of time it takes to get amiibos to my island (3 days, 3 sets of materials, 3 more days to box them with another amiibo), yes I do time travel. Tomorrow, willing to do this for up to 2 villagers.

-Non-AC amiibo messages (Navirou, Ink Squid) read "That amiibo is not supported"
-Specialty one's (Chai, Etoile, Celeste, Pave) will read their name and ask if you want to invite them, but then say it seems you can't chat with them right now. I think this distinction is important.

Mabel, KK, Isabelle do summon (it's adorable), but they pass on the campsite invite.

Discontinuing this entirely. One, it was very time consuming. Two, 2/4 sales had the villager not go through. Working on trying a second time for both. I'm not sure what went wrong, but the first person said that the plot sold to someone else on their island. Will update as I want to help this not be a problem for others.

Additionally, I had a villager try to move out naturally during the process and the amiibo move ins seemed to mess with her as Isabelle announced her moving out for ve days with no change. I had to force her out the same way as others with an amiibo.
