Hi, sorry if this might be a repeated question. Short story short, recently I gave a few villagers apologize gifts containing clothing that really don't match thier personality nor I don't like on them. Is there anyway to remove the clothing from thier wardrobe? I tried Isabelle, but learned its only for custom clothing....
If im correct you have to cycle out the clothing by giving them 15 other clothing items to get them to completely stop wearing them. Its a lot but hopefully my number is off and it's less than that.
If they're apology gifts, meaning from villager to villager for a quest, you can tell them not not wear it after they try it on for the quest. I've had villagers give some horrible outfits (like Judy gave Tia a Frugal Outfit for example) and was able to stop her from wearing it by saying it didn't look good on her.
