Villagers Homes on the Beach

So we?ve seen our players homes being able to be constructed on the beach but do you think that animal villagers can live there too? I?m not sure if this has been shown yet.

I want to have at least one villager be a beach bum.

I would think that we could! I mean, we do get to decide where they live...and if we can put down roots on the beach, I would think villagers can be on the beach.

I have been operating under the assumption that we can as well, and already have some specific plans in place that rely on that being an option. Fingers crossed!

I don't see why not, since they let us do it with our characters. That is a neat idea. I think Bob would love to live on the beach.

I think we all have to live near it at first.

It would be nice to have a house and be able to set up a tent on the beach too.

I guess an extra character could do that.

Pretty sure your player's home, shop and likely villager homes can be relocated. You can also pick plots for new villagers, basically 'pre-registering' their home. You can likely put them on the Beach as well.

I think theyve shown a villager house being on the beach before. I also think that shops are able to move there as well! Which would be pretty interesting, you could have a nice boardwalk filled with shops and food stands c:

I think it's a definite possibility! I'm so excited for the potential of a cute little beach house, I definitely have to plot out a side villager that leans into the beachy theme.

I imagine that we can have them on the beach, I mean, I don't see why not? If the players home can be there, I'm pretty sure the villagers can too. Though, I rather have my home and the villagers homes be in the area where all the trees are and not the beach itself.

If we can put ours on the beach, I assume we can put villagers on the beach too. I will probably start my tent off at the beach but once I make my own, more it somewhere else. But since we can put more items outside, I think I mostly wanna decorate the beach of beach them items and make it look fun.

Same I’m putting my house on the beach until I find the spot for my house.

I hope so! It would be kinda weird for them to introduce this beach house feature but then micro manage it.

I would love to do something like this with 2-4 villager houses.

I think it's pretty likely we'll be able to put villager houses on the beach. I mean, we can already put our houses and furniture on the beach now, if we can pick where our villagers go I don't see why we wouldn't be able too.
