Villagers will not show up on the deserted islands after you built the three plots.

Once you built the three plots Nook asked of you, villagers will no longer show up on the deserted islands. Any villager you haven’t invited will be picked at random. I think they will show up again on the islands after someone moved out but I’m not sure. Not that far yet.

Also, the only personality types that show up at this point are Normal, Peppy, and Lazy. Once you invite a villager, their personality type will stop showing up. So keep going to these islands if you’re looking for a specific Normal/Peppy/Lazy villager.

Yeah, I actually restarted my town when I realized I blew my chance to get her and other dreamies. I did invite her this time around. It took around 15 or so visits.

I'm sure I'll get her down the line! I've made too much progress to reset now haha

They show up again once the first camper has moved in and a plot of land has been sold. But once the plot of land is sold, they stop showing up again until the villager moves into the plot and another plot is placed.

Actually this isn't true. The random spawns return after you unlock the ability to invite Amiibo through the campsite. They will ONLY return if you have an empty house plot available though. If you go to one without a space for them, they won't. But they'll be there if you do. Unfortunately I think it's a wider pool this time, it seems there's less of a chance to get one of the new ones through this method. I missed my shot at Audie too. I really really want her though!

i read this after placing the plots, but since i didn't finish crafting the items i still have villagers on my islands. thanks for the heads up!
