Villagers

Since playing this game from March 2020 to present I’ve only had 22 villagers on my island. This count includes the 10 that reside there now. I feel like I’m really taking my time to get to know these guys.

I decided to move out a few so I can have the Sanrio characters on my island. I probably wouldn’t be at 22 at this point without that update.

So my question is... have you had more or less chances with the 453 villagers? This includes villagers who you’ve moved to your island, not just doing mystery tours, meeting them at other players towns etc.

oof i've had over 100, i was looking through the list of villagers to see which ones i remembered having and it added up to 121

only 2 villagers have been on my island since early game and that's raymond and judy, i can't let them go haha

I've just had a quick look through the villager list and think I've had a total of 36 villagers in New Horizons so far. I did a lot of island hopping at the beginning to find my 10 'dreamies' and kept them for a long time but in the last couple of months I've swapped some of them out so I can collect some more villager photos and change my permanent 10 as some of my favourite villagers have changed. Coincidentally like @Jam86 my two longest lasting villagers are Judy and Raymond, can't let either of them go

There are about 10-20 more villagers that I want to get photos from but then think I'll be picking up the current 10 permanent villagers so it's likely to be a while before I pass the 100 mark.

Ive had less than 15, i kept one of my starters and then replaced the other ones with my current ones, i only have 8 villagers on my island.

Any particular reason to only having 8? My Oldest villager is Bob he still has his starter house. Then Marina and Octavian are the oldest.

I've had 14 villagers I let move out. So 24 total.

I'm currently sitting at 9 permanent villagers. I'm saving up nook miles tickets for when Kevin eventually gets the move out bubble.

I'm only looking for Kiki or Lolly to fill in my last spot.

I had: Fuschia, Alfonso, Tipper, Bluebear, Sprinkle, Lily, Tex, Dom, Cyd, Lucy.

Less than one day (villagers i used to kick someone out and to replace afterward): Puddles, Tom, Samson.

Current Villagers: Punchy, Kiki, rudy, raymond, rosie, merry, sherb, roscoe, judy, and Graham.

I was planning on cycling through most of them but it is taking me forever to get Graham’s picture and I needed a break. Not sure if I am going to try having every villager partly because I got a lot of my favorites right now .

That’s how I felt about getting Judy and Hoppers pics. It just was taking so long! I had to keep away from them. Lol I’m not sure if I’ll ever cycle through all the villagers. It’s such a rare treat for myself to go to the mystery islands and interact with the villagers that way. I usually just scan whomever into the campsite.

Yea I started out with Bam and Plucky.
Got the campsite had the forced Leopold camper

Then I picked Bob, Bianca and Skye. Only Bob has stayed.

After them I picked Marina, Dom, Merengue and Julian.

Got rid of Leopold for Octavian. Who is still present.

I think I then got rid of Bam for Bill.

Traded Plucky for Hopper... I want to say?

Judy took Bianca’s spot.

Traded Bill for Genji... Genji for Drago.. Drago for Toby..

Skye was traded for Mira for Fuschia.. Fuschia for Etoile..

Flora replaced Merengue.. then Zucker took her spot.. Chai replaced him.

So yea I think that makes sense? Ahaha

You can fall for one's you never thought you'd want, and use dreams to confirm you want a certain villager

On my island I've had at least 150 different villagers throughout my playthrough. I've been a photo addict for quite a while now and enjoy going through that process. Also trading, selling and giving away villagers has been fun throughout my ACNH experience. All of that said, I've done an insane amount of island hunting and have encountered every single villager at least once during NMT hunts.

I am currently cycling the Sanrio villagers one at a time. I have Marty right now and trying to get his photo. After that, I'll replace him with another Sanrio villager. After getting all 6 photos, I'll resume with my previous cycling.

I am aiming to find the 10 permanent villagers of my island.

I've had about 130 villagers on my islands and met a lot of the others on mystery islands and in my campsite. The most recent new villager I've met was Hippeaux. I've probably met 300 villagers so far.

The earliest villager I met that I still have is probably Raymond. I've also had Sterling for a long time and Colton.
