Looking For Walker, my friend

My best friend Walker moved out and I have no idea how to get him back, please, if you have him, you have got to help me find him again.

I'll be willing to trade another villager for him, if you really want to. These are the ones I'm fine with giving away:

• Cube
• Quillson
• Portia

I also have a stockpile of clothes I'm not using, so feel free to ask for some.

Please, Walker was my favorite.

PS. I only just found out about trading today, so I don't really know how it works after giving someone my friend code.

Hey!

I know it might be a bit overwhelming, as it looks like you are new to the forums (welcome btw!), but getting Walker back is not as easy as just picking him up from another town. Unfortunately, nintendo has cursed has with the terrible thing that we call "the void"

Basically, villagers who move out of your town are in "the void", and can only be removed once 16 villagers have moved out and replaced the 16 slots in the void. You will have to move out 16 villagers until you can get him back from someone else's town.

You will still see him on main street and in shops from time to time. When you stop seeing him after a while, that probably means he is out of the void and is then adoptable again. If anything, ask someone who has Walker in boxes in their town and go visit him. If he asks to move in then you're all good! If he says some familiar dialogue like "nice to see you again!" or something along those lines, he is still voided and you have to wait for him to be out.

Alternatively, you can purchase amiibo card packs and hopefully get his amiibo card, then scan him into your game. Amiibo card villagers ignore the void completely and can freely move in and out of your town whenever you please.

I know this is super complicated and quite a lot of work to get your friend back! If you need any other help feel free to private message me or do some researching on your own!

Actually, out of all the animals I run into in Main Street, I never see Walker, which makes me think he was actually removed during one of the many time-travel episodes (I keep forgetting to charge my 3DS). This actually happened a while ago, until I realized I could trade villagers -- like I said in the original post -- so I don't actually remember.

Although It's also possible that I was just so bad at attendance, that the Void has already been cleared. I keep seeing the same animals in Main Street, so it's not a matter of not running into him yet. But I'm still worried, a number of things have been going on in my game that I can't seem to understand (Redd's dialogue make it seem like he's supposed to come more often), or maybe the void was shortened in a patch or something.

Whatever the reason, I'm going to ignore Cube and Quillson (I'd feel too bad about kicking them out through Isabelle, so I'm neglecting them until they do it themselves), and hopefully the Void is free of Walker.

P.S. I don't know what happened, but I thought the villager limit was reached, but someone else just got a space reserved for them.
