Walmart?

Wow. I called all the Walmarts around in my area to see if it was possible to get the New Switch tonight at midnight and none of them have it in stock. I wonder if this has anything to do with the Walmart that released the console earlier than they were supposed to?
Anyone pre-ordered with Walmart? Whats the situation like?

my situation ain’t much better

there had been a pending charge from Walmart for the ac switch in my account since sunday, but today it disappeared and the funds are back in my account...... but i haven’t received a cancellation email and checking on my order through Walmart’s website doesn’t indicate it’s cancelled, however it’s kinda weird because the status is both “being prepared” and “it’ll arrive march 13th” which i highly doubt. im also interested in hearing if others that preordered through walmart are in a similar situation

idk at this point im a little worried. I might see if i can snag one somewhere in person tomorrow and just return it if my preorder does end up going through

I'm going to pick up mine this evening from Game Stop. I had it pre-ordered when it was first annouced and they called to give us an appointment time to come in for this evening. I think they want to make sure all of the pre-orders go out first before they start selling to avoid any confusion on their end, since there's been incidents where some employees sold a pre-ordered item by mistake and the person who pre-ordered it in advance didn't get it.

Heck yeah. Those are the best Wal-Mart stores. I have a particular one out in the sticks that I go to for occasions like this because they never run out of anything.

I preordered from walmart. The charge went through earlier in the week but I put the order in first of feb.

I keep getting emails saying the date changes from the 12th (today) to the 13th. Right now it's been saying ready today after 6pm but I haven't gotten any email to come pickup and says it's still prepping. So, I'm assuming the system is just glitchy and it'll be ready on the actual release date tomorrow.
My case is still showing 13th for pickup date anyways, so I might as well just save to one trip there and wait for tomorrow. Fingers crossed I get the pickup emails and nothing shady happens.

I ordered the case from Wal-Mart on Feb 2nd...and I have gotten tons of email switching the ship date from the 12th to the 13th... they charged my card but it still doesn't have a tracking number... so I opened up a chat with Walmart customer service they said I don't know why you think it's coming on the 13th because is coming on the 17..after lots of back and forth they have me a 10% discount and I'll be getting it on the 17th but at least its just the case.

Both my switch and my case have just arrived to the store via their tracking update. So just waiting on store processing and then I can pickup.
