Im so late to this haha.. But I’m going to begin logging my island’s progress. I’ll share cute pics/moments/edits/drawings of my island experience here. I’ve been working really hard on it since launch day, yet haven’t shared it anywhere. Here seems like the best place to.

My island is cottagecore mixed with arts-and-crafts mixed with English countryside town themed! Its a lot ik lol. As of rn Watercolor is still a WIP, so there are lots of things I’d like to have a place to log them. (here!)

For a first entry, heres just a pic I caught of Eugene being adorable and sipping some soup below main street. Just recently I was able to replace my blue phone box with a red one and it made such a difference with adding more of an English feel for the strip. (the tardis- I mean blue one now resides here at the park above Filbert and Felicity’s street. I hope to get the yellow or green one to replace it, but for now the blue is okay.

In other news, I’ve finally begun noticing some mildly irritating lag while running (i have a lot of furniture outdoors, i think that could be a reason) ,so moving forwards, as I keep decorating my island, Im going to try more simplistic layouts for areas

Watercolor wish #2

Today a friend who knows I love Mott mailed me his letterman jacket from New Leaf! Originally I was gonna be a creep and hang it in my room, but I decided to gift him instead lol. It looks like they upped the saturation in NH, as it was more faded in NL. But I still thought it looked nice on him.

Today I also, for the first time since I bought the game, sat down and actually decorated a room. My bedroom to be exact! Its.. sort of identical to my bedroom from New Leaf, but this time around the pallete focus is pink and brown. I just think they go well together. I used what I could to follow my style but I still want the white lovely bed since it has the nice canopy similar to my bed IRL.

I I added a sewing area because I have one IRL, although its been collecting dust since the pandemic. I thought it’d be a cute detail to include as well as fill space

Watercolor wish #3

Today I celebrated 1 year on Watercolor!! =D I’ve had a blast with the game since release. It isn’t all I wished for, but I’ve still been enjoying it.

A photoshoot with Hazel and Teddy who also purchased the Nook Inc. getaway package. Reminiscing of roughing it out the first couple weeks of island life!:

The island threw a party to end the night. We dressed in our most colorful clothes and had some cake baked by Tom Nook himself:

In all seriousness I hope everyone who celebrated their islands had a good time today and lets look forward to Nintendo’s future updates to keep the game more interesting!
