so i'm writing a story and essentially (roughly), it's about a failing artist who ends up falling in love with someone but he keeps a secret from her, and that secret is bulimia. i'm looking for someone who can draw ''in character'' as him.
there'll be two ''books" in the series, one before it all happens and he's in art college and his life basically goes from bad to worse, and the main one where it all happens.
however, i don't want to put a drawing in every chapter, the most i'll probably ask for is about 5 to 10 at the very most.
i originally wanted to illustrate it myself, but i realised i don't think i could live up to my own expectations.

the crucial thing i need is someone who can paint in ink and watercolour (watercolour's a priority so it's ok if you can't do ink cus i know how expensive it is but it would be great if you could do both!). watercolour (and water as a whole) is one of the key elements in the story and without it/with a different media i don't think it would be the same. after the watercolour/ink layer, if you could draw over it in black ink that would be good.
the second thing is the style. i'm not looking for any particular style, however, i'd like the faces to look similar to this here down below. v.
remember, the main character is no more than 18-19 in the prelude and 20 in the first story (he joined at 16, but his birthday is in october: he's been at it for 2 years so he's in his final year), so i'm not expecting it to be polished or proportional: just unique.
the style should be fluid (no blots in the ink, in the actual paint is fine), and ink buildup at points (elbows, lip curve, ankles etc) is ideal. think tumblr-esque (red noses, cheeks etc) however, i might ask for some sketches later on and what i said earlier will no longer be needed. everything should be as flowy and mad as possible.
the only thing that's really important is expression. emotional artwork is the key here.
as mentioned before, 10 is the absolute max (though it's very unlikely it'll reach that) i would want and i'm not asking for any big pieces. whatever you feel is right for the chapter (i'll send you the story and specify which chapters need illustrations as well so you know what's going on).
if you can fake the style/are willing to try, please do so!
i'm also looking for someone who can very sketchily draw the stories' logos in sepia/brown ink, a fox and a bird for the main one and a deer and a fox for the prelude. if i like your style i'll send you my own versions of the logo for you to draw out.
for both: please please please send me wips! i don't want you to spend all your time on something i might not like!
