We have a problem

I- have a problem. Kiki, my current fav villager at my island, wants to leave. I could let her go, and try to get a better villager, but I'll be risking getting an ugly one too!! what should I do ;-;

well thats what im debating, because she is the best one I currently have, but If I had a choice Id much rather have like lolly, or lily, or stella, ect. but, If I get rid of her, I risk getting an unglier villager.

Have you thought about looking through the "new neighbor network" forum to see if any of the ones you're looking for will be available tomorrow or if someone has their amiibo? That what you know you're getting a great villager before you commit to letting them go. If a villager search doesn't work out chances are someone on the forum can help you out.

I didn't know about that- (im still new ;-; I just signed up yesterday) but thanks! if you dont mind me asking- um where do I go to get to the new neighbor network forum- ;-;

That's what I was going to suggest! There are a lot of users who are willing to help you out, and the ones you mention all have Amiibo cards (I actually have Stella's Amiibo card myself, and I'd help you out... but I've currently got her on my island and am not ready to let her go yet, lol) so I'm sure you'd be able to find someone who has them. I believe the free holiday thread is still up, and while I haven't checked, I imagine at least one of those villagers is available from it.

I love having that forum here because it's a nice fail safe when I'm island-hopping- if I don't find a villager I like on a Nook Miles island, chances are I can find one here!

But, for future reference, scroll down the homepage to "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" and it's one the forums listed under it! Don't scroll too far, though, or you may find the "Villager Trading Plaza"- which is the same thing, but for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, so it won't be a lot of help for your island, lol

OH! And, if you do go to that forum, a term you may see is "gifted"- that means the person has given gifts to that villager, so their home or wardrobe may not be fully original (they may have extra/different furniture in their home, or they may wear outfits they wouldn't normally from time to time). Some people ONLY want ungifted villagers, others are more flexible- it's up to you what you're comfortable with! But, if you get a villager from an Amiibo shop, they'll generally be original- those users don't have time to give gifts usually, lol.

Just a heads up, since I know it took me forever to figure out what that meant

Welcome to the forum! I'd be happy to show you how to get there. If you go to the main page (belltreeforums.com) you will see that it is broken up into sections. The first one is "town hall" and underneath that is "animal crossing: new horizons", where we are now. There's a list of subforums underneath that heading where you can go to either buy goods, visit islands, or pick up new villagers and do a bunch of things. The "new neighbor network" is the one you're looking for- I took a screenshot and highlighted it below! Take a look at the posts in there. There is a "looking for" thread that is pinned to the top, if you post who you are looking for and when someone may be able to help you out!

.o. I hope I can get stella the most (shes my top dream villager), but Id be ok with stella, lolly, marina, ect.

tysm! I checked, and theres no Stellas available currently, no Marinas, and no Lollys. So I think I'm gonna see if I can find a good price for nook miles tickets, and I'm just gonna try to buy a WHOLE TON OF THEM and see if I can get one of my dreamies.
