So I was thinking about this the other day; what are some of your weirdest interactions you have had in school?

For me, I would think my weirdest would be while I was in college. I was talking to one of my group members (who was an acquaintance), then he randomly pinched my face and said "You are so cute !!".
He then went on acted like nothing happened??? I was so shocked I did not know how to even react.
Like, thanks, but no thanks.

I'd say it was when I was at one of my school's football games. I was talking to a group of people and one of the guys in the group randomly called me cute and then asked to hug me. I let him, and he said I smelled good. Absolutely strange lmao

In college ive met a few odd people and have had some odd interactions with them, but none of them compare to this one kid who wanted to be called Vortex instead of his real name. He would get really mad and throw a tantrum if u didnt comply to this, especially towards teachers. One of them told us that his sister was like this too, wanting to be called something strange as it was supposedly her middle name when it wasnt. I overheard him on the bus talking to his friend about how he is roleplaying as his OC from Miitopia in real life. One time after a quiz in class he came up behind me, patted my bag, kept tapping the back of my head, saying "HAW HAW" Dont know why. Maybe i didnt do particularly well that day. He told us about his YT channel, which had a link to his deviantart page. He has some very questionable f̶e̶t̶i̶s̶h̶e̶s̶ interests. Never thought i would ever interact with someone in person who has "that" kind of dA page. He also gushed to us about his girlfriend sometimes, turns out shes an OC of his. A pink greninja. Hm. Interesting. I havent been to the college for a while but i still think about what hes up to sometimes. What will he do later in life? Will he ever grow out of being Vortex? The world may never know.

Oh my god. I've interacted with people like that on the internet, but I guess I assumed they acted somewhat normal in person. I guess some don't lmao

Oh boy. I have too many to count.

My favourite one has to be the time when I was minding my own business in class until one dude walks right up to me. We were real freakin' close to each other (i could literally feel his breath on my face. that's how close he was) and I was cringing hard. After 30 seconds of pure cringe, he takes a few steps back and does the hardest whip I've ever seen. If I wasn't recovering from cringe at the time, I would have died laughing.

I guess the weirdest thing would be when I was on a research trip with some of my fellow university undergraduates, and everyone had been assigned rooms with each other. Guys with guys and girls with girls. Well the guy that was rooming with me had a girlfriend on the trip that started staying in our room (keep in mind this was at a hotel-like place), which wasn’t allowed. I didn’t tell the professor about it, but it was definitely really awkward at times, and there was another group of four or five people that were seniors that I talked to about them, and they felt bad for me, lmao. Nothing bad happened while on the trip though so I guess everything went okay.

Another time was when I was on a research trip in community college, and the guy I roomed with was really, really depressing all the time and strange. He got mad a lot at us and eventually left back home halfway through the trip. I think he was going through some stuff though, so can’t blame him for that.

Other than those two times I can’t really recall any other weird experiences in school. I’m sure there were probably some when I was in high school, but I don’t remember any notable ones.

one of my old roommates used to cry every night on the phone with the whiniest voice ever. she got rejected by some boy so she used someone she called gross as rebound and for months she would cry on the phone and say she has to break up with him. she also used to get super pissed whenever I would receive my giant packages of clothes in the mail. my other roommate was the one who brought this to my attention. her crying was not limited to her obsession with boys and fitting in, she would also cry when talking to her parents and go on about how she doesn’t want to get a job. “No I don’t wanna get a jobbbbuh” was what it sounded like if u know the noise I’m trying to translate into text. But yea she used to give me the meanest look every time I came back from shopping (which was a lot...) ***** needs to mind her business!

crazy to me how people actually cry, especially so OFTEN

Uh well, there was this guy who used to eat grass and chew on his pencil.. weirdo..

This punk rocker chick in middle school I use to talk to all of a sudden grabbed my hand and scratched it like a cat lol random but a pretty juvenile thing to do I guess. Around the same time, this other random girl who was always disheveled, and would sit in back of me in my English class, would play footsie on my back lol

Mine happened in highschool.

My friends and I were walking down the hall and passed by a boy. My talkative friend says ?hey, how?s it going?? as we are walking by him. The boy stops DEAD in his tracks, and turns around and stares at us. It was very awkward.

Then the boy goes, ?you want to know how it?s going? I wish I could die right now. Like this.? Then he proceeds to FALL FLAT ON THE SCHOOL HALLWAY FLOOR. He lays there for about 10 seconds, gets up, then walks away.

We were....conflicted.

Around one month ago I ordered a chicken sandwich from the eatery at my college. I spend on average ten hours a day at my college as I live out of town. Well, this chicken sandwich tasted funny, and was hard as a brick because they left it in the fryer for too long.

I took the icky chicky sandwich back to the eatery and explain my problem. The lady then very violently grabs the hot chicken with her bare hands, and feels it up, so she can be sure I'm not lying. I was so confused. Was it something I said?

I did get a replacement sandwich but she wasn't happy about it.

Usually I?m the one causing the weird interactions. Some I want to slap my old self over.

This was back in my senior year of high school, towards the end of the year where everyone is working on their end-of-year projects.

I was standing outside the school library waiting for it to open -there was some testing earlier that day- and while I was standing there minding my own business, this boy who I've only ever seen at the animal science building once, and even then he was sitting on the gator on his phone, came up to me and asked if I was *insert name here*. I was, so then he continued to talk to me, saying he had a crush on me and if I was available to go to the movies on the weekend. I was absolutely bewildered, cause I had literally never talked to this boy once in my life, I didn't even know his name. I told him I was busy -cause I was- so he asked for my phone number. I gave it to him, cause I wasn't about to shoot down someone who got up the courage to tell me they had a crush on me. I said that I wouldn't be open to dating someone I don't know, but maybe we can talk first and get to know each other better.

Well, at the end of it all, he asked me if I was a furry which ****ed me off, and I told him such, so I never texted him back.

Seriously thou, who the HELL goes up to someone who they literally never talked to and says they have a crush on them? Plus, he was a junior, he wasn't even a senior.

I once taped this picture to the front of my math binder and one of my teachers saw it, got really mad, took me out into the hall, and made me rip it up

Probably my freshman year of high school when a guy I barely knew at the time tried to give me flowers. I spoke to him like twice, and all of a sudden he sticks a bouquet up to my face and I was so shocked and confused I didn't even realize he was trying to give it to me. It was pretty awkward.

This happened in my junior year of high school.
We used to get a lot of Portuguese transfer students. One guy (I’ll call E) came into my geometry class about halfway through the year, and he didn’t speak much English at all.
He sat by me and I ended up helping him with class work, because he didn’t have a grasp of the topic since he had just been transferred in. We couldn’t understand each other very well, so we ended up communicating through google translate on our phones LOL.
We actually ended up having some similar interests. He noticed I had a Tokyo ghoul backpack, so we talked about anime a lot.
After class, he started walking with me to my next period. However my boyfriend at the time used to walk me to my next period... so E kinda just, started walking with us? It was fine and all but just a little awkward because we didn’t speak much to him, due to the fact he couldn’t understand without translation.
E ended up asking for my number for “help with homework.” As far as I can remember, we never spoke about homework lol. He would ask personal questions about my boyfriend and I, and would attempt to flirt with me ???
Eventually he found out where I worked, and started to go there pretty frequently. He would always text me things like “I saw you today” or “you’re not working today???”
One day he told me he had a dream about me. He started to give inappropriate details, and that’s when I bluntly told him I don’t think we should be friends anymore because the way he spoke to me was not appropriate. I ignored him in class that day. After class, he STILL attempted to walk beside me to our next class, but I sped up and lost him in the crowd of people exiting their classrooms.
I started packing up early so I could be the first one out of class everyday. I also started taking a different path to my next class. I avoided him like the plague!!!!
He still continued to show up at my work, which is fine because it IS a public place, but what bothered me is that he would go out of his way to wait in MY line specifically. Usually he was with a friend though, so I would ignore him and take their order from the person he was with. E would always just stare at me. God it was so awkward.

Probably being asked for a light at 3am by another student on campus & being offered a pass in return.

I don't really remember anything too weird happening but once I was sitting on a bench reading waiting for my next class. Some stranger came up and sat next to me and said "want to be friends?" I thought it was super weird and was nervous he might be a murderer so I told him I didn't have time for friends because of school and work. He said ok and went and sat at another bench. I felt weird just sitting there after telling him I was so busy so I got up and hid in the bathroom until my next class started.
My husband had kind of a weird experience. He used to work over night and take classes in the morning. So in between two of his classes he was taking a nap on a bench. A lady maybe in her 40's came and sat next to him and poked him. When he asked her if she needed anything she asked him if she could talk to him about God. He was like nah I'm good, but she just started going on her spiel so he eventually just excused himself and finished his nap somewhere else.
