Welcome TBT?

Hey guys,
I saw that a couple of weeks ago, I was awarded 500 tbt for 'Welcome'.
It wasn't like I'd just signed up.
What would this have been for?

Also, why does posting take away TBT sometimes?

They are a special gift just for YOU [SIZE=-2]and anyone else who has made the number of posts[/SIZE]

If you edit a post, tbt will recombobulate the correct amount of bells you get by deducting, then adding again

It also takes away if you get a warning or infraction
