Blix: The first thing I did this morning was the May Day event, which I was successful with! I failed the first time to get all the bell vouchers, but managed to get everything the second time! I enjoy puzzles like that, so it was a blast to front for, and Rover was really cool!
Aegagrus: Pointing out too that yesterday while we were blurring we wound up making a bunch of outfits including a scenecore one and because Blix likes scene culture we didn't take it off, so if you're wondering why we're wearing a rawr shirt with a Gir hat instead of our usual alien garb that's why.
Also we found a glitch doing this that caused our hunger to reset each time we left the house until we realized we could just save and quit then come back in to fix it.
Blix: *eats in house and then rushes out to smack a tree and it bounces back*
Blix: And then, Puddles seemed upset today. She talked about how she wanted to be seen as more relaxed and wanted to take up gardening, so I decided to give her some Yellow Pansy seeds since we had a lot of those and I just bought wrapping paper this morning! I may get her something tomorrow too if I'm still fronting.
Ribbot and Bam also seem to be getting along, which is great! They got into a fight shortly after Ribbot got here, but today they were sitting on the bench in the plaza together, which was really cute!
Blix: I talked to Isabelle and she said the island had too many trees which gave the island too much of a rural feel, but that might actually just be because of the orchard which I just calculated and currently has 90 trees! There aren't that many cherries since they're the native fruit, but I'd say that's where most of the tree density is. We don't really plan on removing trees though...
Aegagrus: I mean most of us in this system are "feral animals", so an island where the lead designer is a system full of them that's about to be expected. Even if it is in a neat area.
Blix: Speaking of the orchard though, I did finish it! It's basically two rows of trees (except for the native fruit, cherries, which only have one) with some wildflowers on both sides of each tree so that the fruit falls to the side. That way it's easy to pick up! We can make a lot of money selling fruits :>
Blix: Then Aegagrus started to cofront and we started working on the bamboo farm and hybrid flower garden while discussing island layout. I ended up making like a flower valley!
The custom tiles were modified from something we made a couple weeks ago but never used! I thought it would be perfect for this ^w^
Aegagrus: While we were doing that, I was doing some thinking on the house layouts. While Blix's help, I calculated how to space the four houses that are off to the side of the "neighborhood". Here's the map...
Aegagrus: The square plots to the side of the houses are where we were expecting to move the houses. You may notice our house is among the ones that are being moved, and we're planning on actually moving where Muffy is (the topmost house) and moving there in her place. We moved Bam already since we want to get started terraforming to the east. Since we don't time travel, the process would take about five days.
We'll also move the campsite at one point, probably to the east where the houses to be moved currently are.
We are also thinking of moving around the shops, but that's not finalized and we're still discussing it.
When we finished we also wound up moving a bunch of flowers for storage, and I wound up liking the way it looked. Here's a picture:
Aegagrus: We're still working on everything and making everything how we want it, but overall I think we made a lot of progress today.
