welcome to the all-new honey bay!

well folks, it's official! honey bay 1.0 is no more. honey bay 2.0 is on its way to be up-and-running soon! as hard as it was to say goodbye to the residents (and diy recipes) of the original honey bay, i'm so excited to get a fresh start! i'll be starting march 20, 2020 (game release date) so that i can time travel my way through the year! i can't wait to play through all the holidays and seasons again (except winter though, i'll be skipping those months!)! so welcome to the brand new honey bay!

for my first journal post, i think I'm going to post some inspiration pictures i found for my island. all of these photos are from pinterest, so i don't own any of them! all credit goes to the amazing creators!

honey bay is most likely going to be a natural kidcore island. most of the kidcore islands i've seen are also citycore, so i'm hoping i can make the kidcore aesthetic work while also keeping a natural feel.

• saturday, march 27 •

i picked a map! it feels like it took FOREVER, since i was looking for some really specific things: map-centered rs, big rock (the one on the left), blue airport, peaches/apples/cherries, and a lot of open space! i think it's perfect! my neighbors, deirdre and tybalt, won't be permanent residents, but they'll be nice to have around for the time being.

since i'm starting in march 2020, i'll have to time travel quite a bit to get caught up. i travelled a few days, so quite a bit has happened on honey bay in a short amount of time! here's a few notable honey bay events!

the museum is officially under construction! it should be open sunday! i also moved a bunch of my old furniture and outfits back over from my brother's island!

i upgraded my house! i picked a pink roof, my favorite color!

i decorated my house! isn't it cozy?

• tuesday, april 6 and wednesday, april 7 •

hey hey bell tree, it's been a while! so much has happened on honey bay in the meantime! here's what's new:

we have so many new residents! since the last update, puddles, peaches, dizzy, curlos, scoot, paolo, and flora have all moved in! puddles, peaches, dizzy, and paolo were all random move-ins. curlos was honey bay's first camper. scoot and flora were found on nook miles islands! one more islander, and honey bay will have a full roster! i can't wait to see who moves here next!

we also have a new playground! hopefully honey bay's residents enjoy climbing our jungle gym and playing on our sandbox! stay clean and stay safe, everyone!
