I quadruple checked; Codes from the Japanese version of AC are not valid when entered into other versions, or at least the US version of CF. I think the deal with it is the languages. Japan has quite a few exclusive holidays, so I was really hoping to go and get some rare items.

What's strange though is according to some looking up I did with a save editor, the items obtained from these Japan only holidays seem to be in the game for us as well, but how would we get them? Oh well.

I kinda expected this because I have a european copy of ACWW and an american copy and uhm a japanese copy >_> But i could never get the japanese one to connect with the other 2.

Lol if your wondering why i have 3 copies its because the use one broke so i got a euro one and i went to japan this year and ACWW was cheap so my mum got it for herself

Erm, think you mean "illegitimately". There's no way for us to "legitimately" get the Japanese exclusive items unless we have access to a Japanese town via Wi-Fi.
