I was raised by both of my parents but they didn't get married

My parents were never together. My mom married my stepdad when I was four and was the best dad he could be. My bio-dad bailed on me when I was six and I haven't seen him since. Awkward telling people I didn't know if I was an only child or not up until last year when I traced my family history. I have a step-mother, never met her.
