Post 2-3 songs that you think represent your country.

My two are:

I think these two songs both illustrate the U.S. sense of freedom and simpleness that goes back to when it first came to be a country. For me when I listen to the songs, I feel pride and peacefulness for the US. and everything in it.

not exactly canadian representation but they’re two canadian artists and with how often they play on the music stations here, i feel like it works lol

Sup, north hemisphere buds! These are the songs that I think capture the soul of Brazil!

this is an old song typical of the northeastern region, voicing the issues of the people of that land. Besides it being by the coast, it's the hottest of the country, with a climate similiar to one of a desert, so drought and famine have always plagued there, even today. The first verse says:
"When I saw the ground was scorching
Like a bonfire at night
I asked God up there in heaven
Why such suffering?"
and i really like the song so :)

Love me some German songs :DDDD

Also I was gonna say there's only one true representation of the US and upload Country Roads but you already did that lollll

Instead, here's a song that I think represents ohio pretty well :)

honestly this probably isn't a very good representation of the country (i dont think we have a super cohesive identity like the US has or anything) but here are two culturally important songs from native bands

rip neil peart

I think these three songs represents kind of a cross section of what the United States is about...the good and the bad.

Probably these. XD

And since the holiday called carnaval is also coming up in my home country on Sunday next week, which is often paired with drinking gallons of beer (which is why I don't celebrate it bc I don't drink anything alcoholic ) and listening to so-called "wrong" music like this
