what are "junior" members?

what are "junior" members? Also all the other ones too, like "senior" what does it all mean?

It depends on how many post they got, I believe. Otherwise, it has to due with join date. You can override the status in profile settings if you don't like it...

I thiiiink junior member is less than 500 posts but I could be making that up

You'll have the default "Junior Member" title when you have less than 100 posts. After 100 posts it switches to "Member", and after 500 is when you're considered a "Senior Member" in terms of posting. Join date has no bearing on these titles.
