What are your favorite and least favorite old SpongeBob episodes?

I was curious to see what the worst of pre-movie SpongeBob was. Most of the criticism towards SpongeBob was aimed at SpongeBob from seasons 4 to 9 when it was under a change in management, but even the pre-movie episodes aren't all that golden. At the same time, I would like to make the thread fair and ask for favorites too.

Questions:

1. What are your favorite SpongeBob episodes from Seasons 1, 2, and 3?

2. What are your least favorite SpongeBob episodes from Seasons 1, 2, and 3?

You may answer the questions any way you like, as long as they're on-topic.

My take:

My favorite episodes from this point of the show, would have to be SB-129, The Graveyard Shift, and Club SpongeBob (mostly because of the food at the near end). An interesting fact about my pick is that they were all on the same DVD, but none of them were from the same seasons.

My least favorite ones before the movie, would have to be Survival of the Idiots, I'm with the Stupid, and The Smoking Peanut. I didn't like them as much as the rest of pre-movie SpongeBob.

My favorite old episode is probably Band Geeks, but I also loved Squid on Strike and Culture Shock (mostly for the Incomparable Squidward lol).

How can someone not love this lmaoo


I don't really have a least favorite but there were a few I didn't like, such as The Bully. That episode just kinda irks me, prob because Mrs. Puff is completely oblivious to everything Flats does and is quick to defend him.

Band Geeks is my favorite hands down, I stopped watching after the first few seasons. It started when I was in 4th or 5th grade so I kind of outgrew it. There were some I didn't really like much, but I can't remember them. The imagination one was good too.

I don’t like any of the episodes. I tried watching it several times, but it just wasn’t in my tastes.

My favorites would probably be SB-129, Survival of the Idiots, and The Algae's Al
ways Greener.

Then my least favorites would be The Great Snail Race and Culture Shock.

My favorites are Sleepy Time, Culture Shock (If you dislike this, go watch The Play's the Thing, basically a worse version), and Jellyfish Hunter.

Least favorites are all the specials except Christmas Who?. Even Ugh was boring. I also dislike I'm Your Biggest Fanatic, Grandma's Kisses, and Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV with the overrated and stupid wumbo joke.

I have unpopular opinions.

Oh, and Life of Crime too, mostly because of Patrick's "Liar liar, plants for hire" quote.

My dad loves the episode Jellyfish Jam. That's the one where they make a song out of dolphin noises at the end. Classic.

My favourite was in which SpongeBob and Patrick steals Sandy's hair and are stuck in her home.

The least favourite is the episode in which they curse a lot and Mr krabs told them it was bad. That episode was way too much XD

My favourite episode is Jellyfish jam and band geeks, whenever I watch them it just puts a smile on my face! I cant really think of any that I hate or even dislike to be honest however, whenever I watch SB-129 I seem to not enjoy it as much as any other episodes!

i don't know any of the episode names, but i can tell which is which by what happened in the episodes. i haven't watched spongebob in forever so....

any episodes from 2010 and before were great in my opinion. i'd say 2012 and after are all my least favourite, except for maybe some of the special ones.

I didn’t like Squirrel Jokes or Krabby Land either. But that health inspector one was sad.
