I have some theories I formed while playing this game for a total of 900 hours..

For a light one, my theory is Pekoe is actually panda that formed a different black/white patterns on her fur.

Here's a heavier one:

Octavian really does have something to do with the aliens. It's a common thought in real life that octopuses are somehow aliens that just adapted to Earth and became an inhabitant. My theory is that in the world of Animal Crossing, Octopuses really are related to aliens. When the aliens pop up on the TV at 3am, it's not only them spying on the natural inhabitants of the world, but also a communication to the octopus spies. However, not all octopuses want anything to do with the study mission. Marina and Zucker continue to live average lives, while Octavian acknowledges why he was put on Earth. This explains the way Octavian house looks. He's embracing his species' supposed destiny.

Here is a theory that I may think all the villagers maybe clones of each other and let me explain, it might not make sense but I'll do my best.

Something I noticed. is that I see the same type of villagers on people's islands and they look the same and talk the same way. Then I realized that I had the same villagers as them when I talk to them they don't know me despite the fact that I have them on my island. So I asked myself "Why are villagers behaving differently when you visit other people's islands" Like I went to my friend she had Judy and its not the same one I have on my island that behaves like that.

So I am asking myself "Are the villagers clones?" because its strange after a villager moves out at some point you can see the same villager appear on the Nook Mile Island and when you talk to them they act like they don't know your or remember who you are. So this made me think that there could be someone out there making robots of these villagers whenever one of them leaves someone's island or if someone spots them on a nook mile island. Maybe I am thinking too deep into this but it was a taught I had for a while now. Yeah I always find it strange how when villagers leave and you find them again on Nook Mile islands they act like they don't know who you are are.

I think there is certain Aliens out there creating villager clones when people send them to the void when they don't have anywhere else to move out. They may end up on someone's island, but if they are unable to get to that island they are lost forever and the aliens create a new clone of them and send them to the Nook Mile island for people to look for, which could explain why their memories are lost and how they act like they don't know who you are when you meet them again despite the fact you had them on your island before.

But hey (to quote MattPat) "Thats just a theory! A GAME THEORY"
