What AWESOME things have been left in your recycle bin?

You often receive things in your recycling bin from villagers who moved away. The things you find are often things they had in their interior. I found a few zodiac things before. I didn’t have a need for them, but they were cool to find.

i found a pink sloppy table and bed in mine once. i check the recycle bin everyday now in case of more sloppy furniture. i still take out garbage like sticks and random clothing because i heard sloppy furniture can only spawn if you have less than 10 items in the recycling bin.

Just to let everyone know when a villager moves out the next day you can find one of their furniture items being left behind in the Recycle bin, most likely its probably a cardboard box, but there is a chance of getting one of the items from a villagers home. For example when Ankha moved out she left behind her Golden Casket.

Not gonna lie, the Baggy Shirt and the Torn Pants are pretty cool. Desperately hoping I can find the Shattered Glasses soon.

Furniture-wise, the Recycled-paper Bundle is the best and I have only encountered it once. I need more.

Open-frame kitchen and hanging scroll (pink with a rooster)—I'm pretty sure these came from Elise and Soleil respectively after they moved out. I was just going to sell both because I thought they were regularly-priced items, and I was shocked at how many bells Timmy and Tommy offered. Decided to keep them instead because I realized I actually liked them.

The sloppy series and nearly busted radio were cool to find. I really like all the new 2.0 recycle bin items.

Sloppy table and sink. torn doctors coat. Filbert left his cresent moon chair in there when he moved. I want to find the nearly busted radio and the recycled paper bundle.

So far I’ve found the sloppy table and sofa in blue The ripped doctor’s coat with purple neck tie. I also found 2 tangled electric cords and 1 newspaper bundle.

Didn’t know about the 10 item rule, so I’ll make sure that the recycling bin remains empty from now on.

the best things i’ve found so far have been a few celeste, zodiac and sanrio items left behind by villagers that moved out, as well as a sloppy table and a few new 2.0 items and clothes that i didn’t yet have in my catalog.

I'm so jelly of other people! The most I've gotten is a few Sloppy series furniture items and some of the recycle bin clothing but even then, it wasn't all the variants or items in the set.

I agree. I posted this in the unpopular Animal Crossing opinions thread. I think the black baggy shirt is stylish and I often have my character wear it, too. I had to change up my rep’s style, though, because my favorite shirt was removed from New Horizons. (For those wondering, I am referring to the blue aloha tee. It’s the one Mac is wearing in my signature and not the new one with pineapples on it.)

The day after Pietro moved out of my island, I went to the recycle bin to see what was in store for me and I was super surprised to find a lovely pink Crescent Moon Chair. I found the item during my first week of playing ACNH and I couldn't believe that I had received something that I was wishing to get in the game in the recycle bin.

The most exciting things to come through my recycling box would probably have to the the cardboard boxes. My recycling box luck is terrible and my villagers always leave the worst possible things in them when they leave, including several who have left their DIY workbenches in there.

I love the baggy clothes and torn pants! I hope more come so I can use them on my third character, who head-canonically only decorates their house (tent) with recycling bin items and dresses with clothes from there too.
