You give Pascal a scallop and he gives you an exclusive pirate item. Once he gives you the item, he suicidally jumps into your river, which he does if you don't give him one, too.

Talk to him while you have a plain ole' scallop, and he will want it and will give you a piece of pirate furniture for it.

If you talk to him, you have to have a scallop in your pockets when you do. Otherwise he will jump off. Make sure you have the scallop prior to talking to him

You get scallops from the beach. They will look like a shell I believe, just insure it is a regular scallop
