I'd want a map more like ACCF with the cliff in the middle and instead of having all the stores separate it would be a mall and when you walk in in there'd be a hallway and all the stores off the hallway. And an option for your map where you can either have it random or make your own acre by acre. Your first character would be the mayor and the second one would be an interior designer. More fruits like strawberries and limes and be able to have palm trees on grass which is more realistic and instead of only fruit palm trees there would be a non-fruit one you can buy from Leif and you'd be able to have a vacation house on the island and more types and colours of flowers.
What do you want?

Oh and like how on Main Street there is birds on the ground it should be like that through the whole town and more types of birds.

Oh and instead of having shapes of rivers for each acre of the town (Or flat land or ponds or whatever is there) we should be able to make the river go where ever we want it to go.

What I would like to see is to be able to freely choose what kind of environment you want to live in. Not the same old map rearrangement crap. I'm talking about living in the mountains, a city, grassy terrains, underwater caves, or the beach! any one of those settings can be one entire map town that YOU live in!

Pretty much everything (or almost everything) in my Idea Book. But it's too much to read, so I'll list some examples I put there.

  • A map editor where you can design your town map.
  • Different biomes to live in (with their own weather).
  • Major PWPs that your alts can manage (like one is in control of the restaurant just like how the mayor is in control of the town)
  • Separate lamps, benches, and other projects like that from the PWP directory and make them something you can place anywhere in town at any time (as they still function like PWPs.
  • Custom hours decided by the mayor rather than early bird or night owl.
  • A way to choose where your villagers live.
  • Happy Home Designer's interior design mechanic implemented.
  • New PWPs like the carousel and ferris wheel, and new furniture series like the glow series and invisible series.
  • New catalog features like a sorting and filtering feature when you browse your catalog.

I like those ideas too.

Run the Nook Homes shop with Nook (only when you open the game) so you can choose where houses go. He still sells the exteriors and everything but the player is in-charge of that aspect after talking to Isabelle or something?

I'd like to see more possible interactions with villagers. The player doesn't actually talk and can't initiate going to visit them or giving them presents on impulse. Maybe they could add a cinema or somewhere to go for a meal. They could just alter the cafe to make it possible to order food there and meet villagers at a particular time. Would also like for villagers to have a memory of the last 16 villagers. Once somebody moves out its just like they never existed, even if the villagers were good friends with them. I think they could at least have them mention them ocassionally up until they're out of your void.
Have some sort of food mini game. Little things would really make all the difference for me.

i really like the idea of different biomes as mentioned above! i'd love to make a tropical beachy town where you can grow palm trees in places other than the beach and its always warm etc

Microphone to talk to people..
More fruit again..
New Gracie grace items..
More shops in your town..
Different weeds..
Makeup..

To be able to pick rafflesia flowers and place them in your home. To be able to pick up rocks and sticks and use them for something!

I kinda just want a game with all of the BEST features from each of the older games. I guess. I want some old villegers back for sure. The one's that never made it past GC...

I miss you so much Cleo ;_;

I'd like the villagers to talk more often, like in Wild World where if two characters were on-screen, it was almost a guarantee they would stop to chat, where as sometimes I go a couple weeks without seeing villagers talk. I'd also like to get more individual dialogue out of the NPCs/shopkeepers, maybe even see them walking around town or have their own section of town they live in after the shops close.

I've already lost count of how many times I've answered this kind of thread, with the exact same question... Does people even look around other questions before making their own?
... Well, anyway. It's not like you don't have the right to post whatever thead you want hundred of times again, I guess :)

Being my first AC, there aren't a lot of things to complain about, since I know most of those have already been dealed with over generations. However, refering specifically to NewLeaf, those are the ones I still think could use some kind of improvement:

- Better diving controls, please! It's so unfair preys go beyond boundaries where you cannot follow them...
- More neighbour species: for example foxes, bats, dolphins and seals. I'd love to see ferrets!
- Some way to plot where future villagers will move. Kinda incredible you don't have a say to it being mayor...
- A way to move rocks around, damn! If you can't destroy them completely, aty least being able to relocate them somewhere else.
- More choices in customizing the exterior of your house. That's was a nice touch I liked a lot!
- Let the neighbours go upstairs the museum and visit your own expos would be great too. I want them to comment like downstairs, even if only standard comments.
- More diversity for trees, bushes and flowers. I want more types, not only different colours!

And more or less, this is all I can come with right now. Sure there are I few more, but these are the importants ones :)

I would like more diverse jobs, like the ones suggested at in HHD. It would be cool that if a Villager moves in, they bring a career with them. It could be as simple as Farmer or Gatherer or as specified as Eye Doctor. That would allow for diverse Villages and Main Streets. Or even let the Mayor create districts like cities do in real life. For example, all the clubs and restaurants could be in a Tourist District or a Nightlife District.

Although this probably is far off, i think it would be REALLY cool if you were somehow able to alter the landscape of your town. I've never completely liked the permanence of features like rivers and such. It probably doesn't bother anyone else, but whenever i play in the same town for a long time, i start getting bored of it, and tend to want to restart my game and have a fresh start. And this has happened COUNTLESS times to me, which ended up with me restarting many times, and also taking a lot of time resetting to get good features i liked in a town. Again, this probably doesn't bother anyone else, but i think it'd be cool if this was a thing.
