Ok, so I just got a "Gold Shopping Card" in the mail from the ABD. And I'm wondering, what's the difference between it and the regular shopping card?

There is no difference. The Gold Card is just showing what an "acheivment". You get a Gold Card after you put 1,000,000 Bells in your ABD account. Hope this helped!
