While we’re still waiting on missing games to our previously existing apps to Nintendo Switch Online, let’s talk about the next two hypothetical apps for NSO. One of them is the GameCube, which would have emulated GameCube Games (something the Virtual Console never had). The other is the Nintendo DS.

If Nintendo started releasing GameCube games and DS games to Nintendo Switch Online, what games would you like to see get added to these apps?

For GameCube:
Luigi's Mansion- I loved this game as a kid, and I had a lot of fun with Luigi's Mansion 3, so it would be nice to play the first game again.
Super Mario Sunshine- I have Super Mario 3D All-Stars, so I already have this game for the Switch, but it would be good for those who didn't get 3D All-Stars.
Animal Crossing- This was the first Animal Crossing game I played, and I spent a lot of time playing it as a kid. It would be fun to play it again.

I'd say Pikmin 1 & 2, but those are already in the eshop, so I don't think that would happen. And the only other game I played a lot on the GameCube was Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, which has a remake called Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, which is on the Switch.

For the DS, I think it would nice to have Super Mario 64 DS. I haven't played that version of the game in a long time.

Gamecube: Mario Kart Double Dash would be amazing to play online (more because of Battle Mode)

DS: Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks.

Obvious answers but I would love to play the GC/DS Animal Crossing on my switch. I have so much nostalgia for those games but don’t necessarily want to plug in my GameCube/charge my DS just to play them haha

Pokémon Colosseum and XD, Smash Bros Melee, Twilight Princess, Kirby Air Ride, Wind Waker, Wario World, Star Fox Adventure, and Mario Sunshine for GC.

DS I want Wario Master of Disguise, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue, Tetris DS, Yoshi’s Island DS, New Super Mario Bros, Kirby Squeak Squad, Kirby Canvas Curse, Kirby Mass Attack, Kirby Super Star Ultra, and Pictocross DS

To be honest, I'd be content with just being able to play The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. It's one of the games I've been wanting to play for years, but I don't own a GameCube or Wii U. But I wouldn't mind being able to play the OG Animal Crossing, Super Mario Sunshine, and Mario Kart: Double Dash.

As for DS games... I don't really have a preference, since I already have a DS Lite and a bunch of games. Maybe I'd go for the Cooking Mama games, since one of my games always crashes whenever I try to play it. :(

So it would never happen, but I'd love to play some of the movie to game, GameCube games on my switch.

Like Ice Age, Looney Tunes, Madagascar, ect. I still play them, and even though you can pretty much beat them in a day, they're honestly my favorite games on Game Cube ♡

For Ds I don't know. I've emulated a good chunk of ds games on my switch. I think I'd like Wii, psp, or more ps2 games to come to the switch. Not all main stream titles, but other favorites. That would be really cool in my opinion.

i thought you aughta know, there is a running mod for gamecube online double dash. Youll need some physical mods to connect the gc to ethernet, they are fair priced. There are a few ways to get it done like memory card slot. I havent looked into it for a while, its possible you need a modded gc. Flippy drive is coming to full release soon which requires no soldering. Youll have to take apart your gc tho with a special screw driver or like, try the rubberband trick; Look into that one dont listen to me fully

Wii u windwaker HD has changed music in some places. Its for one better quality and also direct subtle changes. Also they made changes to the boat speed. Hopefully that helps you know what you want when the time comes.

Prepare for an overly thought out reply.

Doshin the giant, Animal Crossing, zelda ww, lotr titles, they did do baldurs gate dark alliance, Simpsons hit and run, smugglers run, road trip arcade edition, SSX tricky +3, resident evil 4, Star wars titles, worms 3D, Tony hawk 3+4+underground1+2, if they get the engine right, monkey ball , special shout out to the movie to game person, looney tunes back in action, Wallace and gromit, hmmmmmm.. finally, time splitters; there could be more I'll stop here tho.

I can't make a DS opinion without going too far
