I think the idea of the Switch is cool, and I'm super excited for a new Splatoon, and I hope they make a new animal crossing game

I'm over here, just hoping for good news on the Beyond Good and Evil 2 rumors.
Let me whip out a list of games that are already confirmed for Nintendo Switch:
Another thing you might want to take into consideration is that although Switch is pretty much a home/handheld hybrid console. Not only games designed for home console experience would show up, but the games that were expected to appear exclusively on Nintendo handhelds would be available. Don't be surprised if Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, the mainline Pok?mon titles, and such end up being playable on Switch.
Really, pretty much any game you can think of would appear on Switch.

- 3D Mario Game (no name as yet)
- Mario Kart
- Splatoon
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Pikmin 4 (speculative, but likely based on reports)
- Project Sonic 2017
- Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
- Unnamed Basketball (NBA) Game
- Dragon Quest X

Right off the bat, it's best to assume that Switch won't be able to play DS, 3DS, Wii and Wii U games. At least, physically not possible.
If you look closely at the picture showing some dude inserting something on the game card slot, the Switch game card has a set of pins that doesn't look the same as the 3DS and DS games.
The Switch also lacks a disc drive, as it's impractical for a console/handheld hybrid device. So, no Wii and Wii U games on Switch.

Hope we get a new super smash bros game for it and hope we get some exclusive titles from third party supporters also I am hoping we get a new metroid game for the switch that be awesome as hell.

yes you did. but yeah probably their annually releases of mario whatever... probably the new mario kart as well if they are gonna make one.
would be cool if they did yet another FFV port to it though, if they still have licenses for it. i loved the advance port to death and yeah could look even more glorious here
Honestly I really hope they move all of the Wii U virtual console games to the Switch at the very least! I would also love for them to digitize some of the current Wii U titles (like the HD remakes of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess) so that they can be downloaded to the Switch. If they do that I will be a happy camper! ^-^
I have NO idea except for the 'standard' nintendo games (mario, zelda). I just really hope there's gonna be a new Animal Crossing!

We need to get the first 3d platforming kirby for the Switch.
Definitely many Mario games. Mario Kart, Marios Bros, even the olympic games game.
A new Pokemon game for sure.
Zelda games, whether it be a new one, or a remastered version of an old one.
Maybe Nintendogs?

I think a new Animal Crossing would be great on the Switch. I've largely seen two camps of AC players lately:
- Those who want an HD animal crossing because the WiiU didn't have one really
- Those who prefer the portable version because they want to be able to check on their towns but are often pulled away from home because of school or work, and don't want to be tied to the console.
