So whatever happen to Hoopa, volcanion, and AZ's Floette? They never were released in any English speaking countries. Did Nintendo withdraw those releases because that hacker leaked them a few years ago? If that's the case than this is indeed a very sad situation.

Hoopa was distributed through McDonalds Wi-Fi from November 27th to December 23rd in America, and was later released in Europe during the month of April 2016 as an event code HOOPA2016.

Volcanion was only just recently released as a gift for prebooking tickets to the new Pokemon movie and will most likely be distributed when the new movie is announced for all other countries. Just wait a few months, Japan usually gets things earlier than the rest of us.

AZ's Floette hasn't even been distributed in any country, heck it hasn't even been officially announced yet I think.

Am I still able to punch in the Hoopa code right now? How come I know nothing about those recent releases? I should have been notified with an ad or a newsletter or something.

According to http://www.serebii.net/events/dex/720.shtml the end date for the code was April 30th.

Also from what I heard you have to manually re-enable your newsletter settings on the Pokemon website from time to time, but I'm not sure how true that is. Usually I just use Serebii.net for my news and stuff.

Oh...............I'm totally disappointed I missed my Hoopa...

I actually think that AZ's Floette will never be released? Right? like its supposed to be utterly unique. Idk. I can see them not doing that?

Just my guess, but it'll probably get released when Sun and Moon are close to release, on release or after release.

Hoopa kinda got the short end of the stick being McDonald's exclusive and being caught up during the busy Holiday season. I'm kind of hoping they'll release it again soon being that other regions had the event run again plus #Pokemon20.

I feel the same way honestly, though I think in OR/AS there was a bunch of flowers similar to AZ's? Hoenn exclusive Floette if you will.

I don't agree with you on the McDonald's part, considering that there are way more McDonald's than any GameStop, Wal-Mart, or Toys R' Us. From my understanding, you didn't even have to go into or buy anything from McDonald's in order to connect to their Wi-Fi as well? That makes it way easier to get Hoopa without having to depend on the nearest GameStop having any serial codes left.

I actually went to get my Hoopa from McDonald's and the only thing you had to do was stand inside the building and access their wifi. (which took longer than you'd think and their wifif didn't extend to outside the building) But you don't have to buy anything and when we asked the people working there they had no idea about any of it. (except for the Pokemon toys that came with kid's meals.)

I agree with Tom i think it was a really stupid idea to be distributed at MickeyDs. not everyone has the time to just get up and go there and also people are trying to stay away from fast food joints.

Who ever is in charge of events they just need to stop with serial codes and in store distributions not everyone wants to get up a go somewhere just to get a special mon

Well yeah it's easier than going into a store, but the reason I feel it got the short end of the stick is that it was during holiday shopping season. Most kids aren't dragged along Black Friday/Christmas shopping and kinda like Greninja said people try to eat a bit healthier. I just would have prefered it over Wi-Fi I guess.

I remember Hoopa only came to American McDonald's us in Canada and even Mexico still have yet to get a Hoopa event to date. At this point I think we've been completely forgotten. I had to nearly give up an arm and a leg to get mine.
