I’m prepping to reset my island by moving everything I want to keep to my partner’s island temporarily. I heard that if you transfer a resident from one island to another, their house, storage, and unlocked abilities like terraforming go with them.
Would it be a viable option for me to make a new resident on my partner’s island, build their house, put all my stuff in their storage, and then transfer them to my new island, thus instantly moving everything without having to fly back and forth a hundred times? If so, would I be able to transfer them as the representative, or would that mess up being able to reroll the new island, or take away their house or terraforming abilities?
