what is a cycle town?

ive been seeing alot of this and i have no idea what a cycle town is (im such a noob lmao)
so if someone can please explain , that'd be very helpful lol thanks!

A cycle town is a town made specifically for the purpose of constantly time travelling in order to have a flow of new villagers moving in, whilst others move out - for the purpose of selling them or giving them away.

this isn't super relevant to your question but it is relevant to cycling in my opinion..

If you do want to cycle, I recommend getting a second copy of ACNL thats JUST for cycling. I personally had a peak of 4 copies when I cycled a lot, but then again I had 3 3DS systems, so it was 3 cycling towns and my 1 main town. Either way I recommend getting a second copy so you don't mess up your main villagers if you want to cycle.

yeah, i already have a second copy of the game that i havent really put much effort to. So ill probably use it as a cycle town for a while to get all my dreamies and then fix it back up
