I would like to be a mercenary, but I'm not exactly sure what it would be in animal crossing. It's not like you can higher people to fight for you.

simple

mercenaries

go to someone's town

take out their golden axe of truth

and chop the unwanted vilagers head off
(like Jane the ape)

Well, mercenaries are going to be reqruited by customers, and will participate in "wars", of which the customer will create the rules.

It's basically a game, and the main point is just for fun. For example, a customer wants to reqruit a mercenary for a "war" that s/he is planning. S/he reqruits the mercenary, and then schedules a fight with the "enemy." They then meet in a specific town, and form strategies, plans, and the main goal. For example, a person could have "HP", and with every hit you get with a net, you lose 1 HP. It's just an example, though, and the rules depend on the customer. After the "war" the customer pays the mercenary, who then gives part of the money to TBTS.

I'm currently a Gardener. Can I be one of these too?

they could just be a mercinary on their own

AWAY from tbts

and they wont have to pay a portion of their profeits to you

to me it just seems like a ripoff

UNLESS

tbts pays them or something

or gives them

That's basically how a job works, Pie.

You are called on to do a certain job, so you do it, the person gives you money, and you go give the money to your owner. (The cash register usually :p)

Then, your employer pays you ever "set amount of days".

This works a bit differently, that being you get paid more often.

Although, I must point out that even though the money is given back to the overall company, at the end of the month, the employee will recieve pay depending on how many times a job was completed.

yeah, whatever job you do for TBTS you will receive pay each month. also, tbts has great insurance plans - just another reason to work for us (jk).
