Finding all but one of the cherry blossom recipes and most of the bamboo recipes by popping balloons for 3-4 hours every night for the past few days. I've been avoiding doing homework for grad school...
Also leveling a huge cliff in my town and getting rid of numerous ponds, rivers, etc. It took me HOURS and I ended up with tendonitis in my elbow from pushing the same button over and over. But at least now I have some flat ground and can start planning and landscaping properly!

The greatness that can come from procrastinating something! And how awesome, what’s your next project now that you have flat ground?

I'm still trying to decide what to put there, to be honest! First I'm going to move two of my villagers' houses back (they're very close to the southern beach right now), so they each have room for a fenced yard. Then behind that I'm going to create and move in a second character and start building their house and surrounding area to eventually become either a school or a combo onsen/ryokan (traditional Japanese inn). I have a while until I have to decide which to make, thankfully, as I need to collect a lot more items for each theme first!
That said, I will probably do a third character eventually so I can do both themed houses - I just have to decide which I want to prioritize.
That’s so cool! I never thought to create other characters to make houses to decorate. I was thinking of using Harv’s Island house to house all my seasonal items and make each room dedicated to a season. But I really like the idea of making a house into a school/onsen/ryokan. Good luck!
