What is your favorite holiday? Why?

I love giving people presents they'll enjoy, and seeing them happy. I love the festivities, and everyone coming together and spending valuable time together.

I also love the warmth of Christmas, especially the classic deep green/red colour scheme, the decorations, and the tree. It feels so warm, and cozy, and happy.

My favorite holiday is Halloween. I love your typical spooky things like rats, bats, spiders, crows, graveyards, and ghosts. I love costumes. I love candy. But what I love most about Halloween is that there are no social or familial obligations, so I'm free to celebrate the holiday however I choose, which is usually by spending it quietly at home.

Honestly, my favorite holiday is thanksgiving. Not really big on the history nor the traditions but THE FOOD. Ahhhh, I absolutely love the food. Turkey and Ham, Mash Potatoes and Yams, who doesn't love Thanksgiving food. <3

my favorite holiday is Halloween because I love dressing up in costumes/cosplay and Halloween gives me a reason to do that. oddly enough I'm not a big fan of candy lol. but I really like walking around too, maybe this coming year I'll ask my mom's friend if i can take her daughter trick-or-treating.

I don’t really have one, but if I had to choose, it would be Halloween. I love seeing everyone’s costumes. During high school, our senior class got to dress up on Halloween and I was looking so forward to that day. I was Ash Ketchum from Pokémon. I even brought a stuffed Pikachu. I have good memories from Halloween. I don’t celebrate any of the other holidays to the extent that most people do.

halloween! i love the black and spooky decor and fall weather c: also its a holiday where its socially acceptable to walk around in costume/cosplay all day which i am very for! cant hate on the free candy and fun halloween crafts either ^u^ also its nice that its fun and festive but not nearly as much pressure as a few other holidays and theres no need to plan long distance trips or feel guilty for not traveling long distance to see family. idk halloween just seems like a happy holiday where people are free to have fun but no pressure to have a lot of company or family or a relationship or anything like that. just pure fun and sweet treats and awesome costumes best holiday!

Christmas, because I celebrate it as the winter solstice, and winter is my season.

The timespan from right after Halloween to Christmas is my favorite time of the year, because Spring is so far away. I hate to say it, but after Christmas I start getting depressed knowing that Spring will come in a flash. Even though the bulk of winter supposedly happens after the winter solstice, it doesn't really feel like it. Or at least it doesn't where I live. I hope to god that I'm wrong about that this year because we didn't get a winter this December.

Christmas for religious reasons which are personal to me.

Another holiday, a National Holiday where I live, I really like is 4th of July. It has nice weather most of the time, get togethers are casual and outside. It is easy to have activities as a group without awkwardness swimming in a pool or attendance at a park vs charades and Q&A for example. We eat grilled food and fruit and it is summery and festive in my opinion. People often sell little things they made at little booths, there are parades or little singing things. I think I like it so much because it is so casual and it is in the middle of summer.

For me it's christmas. Simply because it's the time I see at least the family of my fiancé. Hopefully next year I will see my family though. I really want to have a christmas with my Dad again.
